Description
An assortment of vintage costume jewellery and accessories. The collection includes a ladies silver-tone wristwatch featuring a rectangular case and integrated bracelet, with the dial displaying the marks GUCCI and QUARTZ. Also present are two oval shell-carved cameos depicting female profiles in relief, one of which is mounted in a decorative wirework frame. The group further comprises a silver-tone floral basket brooch accented with pink circular paste stones and a large polychrome enameled parrot brooch or pendant set with clear rhinestones. Completing the lot is a pair of large angel wing-shaped clip-on earrings with textured surfaces and inset clear faceted stones, presented on a partial black display card. The items are constructed from mixed base metals, enamel, shell, and paste stones.
Condition report:
The items exhibit various degrees of surface wear, tarnish, and oxidation consistent with age and use. The wristwatch is untested. The enamel on the parrot brooch appears largely intact. The earring display card shows significant wear and tearing.
