Description
A collection of several blue ring-bound philatelic albums containing First Day Covers and miniature sheets, primarily focused on British Commonwealth issues from the late 1970s. The collection includes a New Zealand 1979 International Year of the Child issue with a 10c denomination, cancelled with a Philatelic Bureau Wanganui circular date stamp. Also present is a Bahamas 1978 25th Anniversary of the Coronation miniature sheet featuring 16c and $1 denominations, cancelled with a Nassau circular date stamp. Other contents include issues from Samoa i Sisifo. The albums are identified with embossed plastic labels for New Zealand First Day Covers, Commonwealth, and Crown Colonies Miniature Sheets. Items are housed in clear protective plastic sleeves.
Condition report:
The covers and miniature sheets appear well-preserved within protective sleeves. Stamps are generally well-centred with clear circular date stamp cancellations. The albums show minor external wear consistent with age and use. No significant foxing, staining, or toning is visible on the displayed items.
