Description
A collection of 2008 United Kingdom decimal coinage issued by The Royal Mint, presented in the original black card display folder. The set comprises coins struck to Brilliant Uncirculated standard. Included are two different two pound coins: one commemorating the centenary of the 1908 London Olympic Games and the standard Standing on the Shoulders of Giants design. The collection also contains the one pound coin featuring the Royal Arms, and the Emblems of Britain series for the fifty pence, twenty pence, ten pence, five pence, two pence, and one penny denominations. The reverse of the folder provides technical specifications for each coin, including alloy compositions of cupro-nickel, nickel-brass, and copper-plated steel, along with diameters, weights, and designer attributions. The folder bears The Royal Mint logo and a 2007 crown copyright. This coin pack is subject to an issue limit of 250,000.
Condition report:
The coins remain in uncirculated condition as issued within the original packaging. The card folder shows very light signs of handling and shelf wear to the edges and corners.
