Description
An assortment of ladies’ fashion watches and costume jewellery contained within a square base-metal trinket box. The collection includes an Elizabeth Rose quartz watch featuring a white dial with black Arabic numerals and a blue fabric strap decorated with a white and yellow daisy pattern. Also present is a Ventura manual wind cocktail watch, the dial marked 17 Jewels Incabloc, with a silver-tone case and a decorative bracelet set with clear faceted stones. The lot includes a gold-tone quartz watch with an integrated mesh bracelet and two silver-tone fashion watches on expansion-link bands. Accompanying the watches is a selection of costume jewellery, including a floral spray brooch set with pink faceted stones, a silver-tone floral brooch with gold-tone accents, a hinged bangle, various chains, and a McDonald’s enamel pin. The lot also contains a small group of international coins, including a French 20 Francs dated 1950 and a Dutch 25 Cent dated 1973. The metal trinket box features a dark circular inset to the lid inscribed with the word Trinkets in cursive script.
Condition report:
All items are in used condition with varying degrees of surface wear, tarnishing, and scratches consistent with age and use. The watches are sold as seen and have not been tested for timekeeping or mechanical functionality. Stones in the Ventura watch and brooches appear to be glass or rhinestones.
