Description
A collection of Royal Creamware fine china in the Classics pattern, featuring a traditional ivory-toned glaze. The group includes several cups and saucers, a teapot with a twisted handle and beaded borders, and a creamer with a matching reticulated underplate. The collection further comprises a large lidded jar or biscuit barrel with moulded crest and swag motifs, and a tall footed compote with an intricately pierced, reticulated rim and bowl. The base of the items bears the printed mark of a crown above the words ROYAL CREAMWARE in an arch, followed by Fine China / Est. 1760 / Made in England and a banner reading Classics.
Compote: approximately 22cm diameter
Teapot: approximately 14cm height.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good condition. The floral finial from the teapot lid is detached but present, with visible adhesive residue at the point of breakage. No further chips, cracks, or repairs are visible.
