Description
A large modernist-style pendant featuring a centrally set, asymmetrical teardrop-shaped Baltic amber cabochon. The amber displays a deep honey-to-cognac colour with characteristic internal sun spangle inclusions. The gemstone is bezel-set within an organic, open-work 925 silver frame that tapers towards the top, suspended from a wide, polished silver bail. The reverse of the bail bears a full set of British hallmarks, including the maker’s mark CJL, the 925 fineness mark, the Sheffield Assay Office rose symbol, and the date letter s for 2017.

The item is in good condition, showing minor surface wear and light tarnishing to the silver consistent with age and use.
