Description
A trio of vintage mechanical alarm clocks of British manufacture. The first clock is a Smiths round alarm clock featuring a chrome-plated metal case mounted on a blue-painted rectangular metal pedestal base. The white dial is printed with blue Arabic numerals, a minute track with luminous dot markers, and is signed Smiths and Made in Great Britain. It features luminous-filled hour and minute hands and a central alarm indicator hand. The second clock is a Westclox round alarm clock housed in a cream-coloured plastic case with an integrated stand. The black dial features luminous Arabic numerals, a white minute track, and is signed Westclox and Scotland. It includes luminous hour and minute hands and a white alarm hand. The third clock is a rectangular alarm clock with a flared base, constructed from cream-coloured plastic or Bakelite. The cream dial features black Arabic numerals and a dotted minute track. The maker mark at the base of the dial is present but illegible. All clocks feature mechanical movements.
Condition report:
Items are in used vintage condition. Surface wear and oxidation are present on metal components, particularly the Smiths clock base and chrome casing. Dust and minor marks are visible on the plastic cases. Mechanical movements are untested and working order is not guaranteed.
