Description
A collection of Royal Albert bone china in the Old Country Roses pattern. The group includes various tableware items such as dinner plates, side plates, soup bowls, a large oval platter, a teapot with lid, and a cream jug. Decorative and specialty pieces within the lot comprise a plate-form wall clock depicting a country cottage, a calendar plate for the year 2000, and a decorative plate with a festive Christmas interior scene. Also included is a small ceramic wheelbarrow ornament and a cake server in its original presentation box. Each piece is decorated with the signature motif of red, pink, and yellow roses with green foliage against a white ground, finished with scalloped and gilded rims. The underside of the pieces bears the printed mark Old Country Roses in pink cursive script above Royal Albert Bone China England.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good overall condition with the gilding well-preserved on the scalloped edges. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs were noted during inspection. The cake server is housed in its original box.
