Description
A 925 silver necklace featuring a pendant designed in the form of a kingfisher in profile. The body of the bird is set with a teardrop-shaped honey amber cabochon displaying characteristic internal sun spangles. The head and wing sections are accented with blue turquoise-coloured cabochons. The pendant is suspended from a fine 925 silver Prince of Wales style twisted link chain. The piece is housed in a navy blue hinged presentation box with a white satin-lined lid bearing a circular logo with the letters RH. No hallmarks are visible on the jewellery item itself.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition. The amber cabochon shows natural internal inclusions typical of the material. The 925 silver components show light surface wear consistent with age and use.
