Description
A Pobjoy Mint commemorative 50 pence coin issued to celebrate the 180th anniversary of the Penny Black postage stamp. The coin features a Pearl Black proof finish and depicts the 1840 Penny Black stamp with the profile of Queen Victoria on the reverse. The coin is housed in a clear protective capsule and is presented on its original illustrated descriptive card which details the history of the world’s first adhesive postage stamp. The card includes the British Pobjoy Mint logo and branding.
