Description
A vintage die-cast metal commemorative model of the Royal Gold State Coach, produced for the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The coach features a gold-tone finish with Rococo-style scrolling and figural cherub accents. The set includes several teams of white horses with hand-painted postillion riders in traditional red jackets and black caps. The horses are connected by a central metal drawbar and decorative metal chains. The lot is housed in its original elongated cardboard storage box containing vintage newspaper packing material from The Times.

Condition report:
The set is in good vintage condition. There is visible paint loss to the horses and riders, particularly on the red jackets and white coats. The gold-tone finish on the coach shows minor surface wear and dulling. The cardboard box exhibits age-related wear, including scuffing, staining, and creasing.
