Description
A collection of contemporary commemorative 50p coins from the United Kingdom and various Commonwealth territories, including the Isle of Man and Pitcairn Islands, primarily issued between 2019 and 2022. The group features several themed releases, including the 40th anniversary of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Peter Pan for the Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Gruffalo, Patron Saints of the British Isles, and commemorative issues for the 95th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II and a memorial coin for HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. The coins are composed of cupro-nickel and are presented in original Westminster Mint or Change Checker card-and-plastic presentation sleeves, with several marked as having a Brilliant Uncirculated finish. The collection is housed in multi-pocket clear plastic binder pages.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in overall excellent condition. The coins remain sealed within their original presentation cards. There is only minor wear visible on some of the external plastic packaging and binder sleeves.
