Description
A collection of commemorative fifty pence coin sets featuring various characters from children’s literature and television. The collection includes sets for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (Isle of Man, 2021), Bagpuss (Guernsey, 2024), Postman Pat (Isle of Man, 2021), Peter Pan (90th Anniversary of Great Ormond Street Hospital), and Mr Benn (Guernsey, 2021). The coins are struck in cupro-nickel and copper alloy, with the Postman Pat set featuring colour-printed reverse designs depicting Pat and Jess. Each set is housed in an illustrated presentation folder containing technical specifications. The Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland set contains five coins: Alice, The Cheshire Cat, The Mad Hatter, The Queen of Hearts, and The White Rabbit.
