Description
A pair of commemorative 50p coin collection sets issued for Guernsey, presented in original themed fold-out card folders. The first set, titled The Pantomime Coin Collection by Westminster Productions (2019), includes several cupro-nickel coins featuring various characters and stories such as Aladdin, Cinderella, and Dick Whittington. The second set, titled Christmas Traditions (2021), contains several cupro-nickel coins depicting seasonal themes including a Christmas tree, pudding, and Santa Claus. Both sets feature the obverse portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS. The interior of the folders provides detailed specifications for the coins, noting reverse designs by Jo Goodberry for the 2019 collection and Stephen Lee for the 2021 collection.
