Description
A trio of commemorative fifty-pence coins issued by the Bailiwick of Jersey in 2011 to mark the 2012 Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Struck in gold-plated metal, the coins feature different obverse designs. Several display a coloured photographic portrait of the Queen seated in state regalia, while another shows a monochrome bust of the young monarch. Each obverse is inscribed with DIAMOND JUBILEE, the dates 1952 and 2012, and the denomination FIFTY PENCE. The reverse of each coin depicts the standard portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF JERSEY and the date 2011. The coins are presented in clear, circular protective capsules.
Condition report:
The coins appear to be in good condition. The protective capsules show minor handling marks and feature small adhesive labels with the handwritten number 511.
