Description
A set of 925 silver demitasse spoons manufactured by Cooper Brothers & Sons. Each spoon features a terminal cast in the form of a dimpled golf ball. The reverse of the bowls bears a full set of English hallmarks, including the maker’s mark CB&S, the Sheffield assay office crown, the lion passant silver standard mark, and the date letter e for 1922. The collection is housed in a black leatherette-covered presentation case featuring a gold-tooled border and two brass-toned latches. The interior of the case is fitted with a black velvet base and a cream satin-lined lid.
Condition report:
The silver displays minor surface scratches and light tarnish consistent with age and use. The presentation box shows exterior wear to the edges and corners, with light staining present on the interior satin lining.
