A 925 silver pendant featuring a large ovoid cabochon of Blue John fluorite. The gemstone is secured in a simple bezel setting and displays characteristic natural banding in shades of deep purple and honey-brown. The pendant is suspended from a tapering silver bail. The reverse of the silver setting is stamped with a 925 hallmark and a small, square maker’s mark.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition. There are minor surface scratches to the 925 silver setting consistent with handling. The gemstone contains natural internal fissures and inclusions typical of the material.
