Description
A carved white marble figure of a seated Buddha, fashioned from a translucent off-white to pale green hardstone. The figure is depicted in a meditative pose, wearing traditional flowing robes. The hands are held in the lap, cradling a spherical object. The head features tight curls and a serene facial expression. The stone displays natural inclusions and a polished finish. The reverse is simply carved, and the base is flat.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. A small adhesive inventory label is partially visible on the flat base. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs are visible.
