Description
Two vintage costume jewellery brooches. The first is a large rectangular brooch of gold-tone filigree metal, decorated with floral and leaf motifs. It is set with a central round cobalt blue glass cabochon and accented with clear rhinestones. The reverse is marked WEST GERMANY. The second is a gold-tone bar brooch set with clear rhinestones, featuring a suspended oval pendant with a black ground and a silver-tone initial M surrounded by a halo of rhinestones.
Condition report:
Both items show signs of minor age-related wear and oxidation. The pieces are in generally good vintage condition.
