Description
A set of tea knives featuring 925 silver handles and stainless steel blades, presented in a fitted original case. The handles are designed with a minimalist fluted pattern influenced by the Art Deco style. Each blade is etched with the inscription Stainless De-luxe Sheffield England. The handles bear a full set of British hallmarks including the crown for Sheffield, the lion passant, the date letter p for 1957, and the maker mark HB for Harrison Brothers. The knives are housed in a dark-coloured presentation box with a black velvet-lined base and a cream silk-lined lid.
Condition report:
The knives are in good condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use. The presentation box shows visible age-related staining and foxing to the silk lining of the lid.
