A collection of mid-20th-century black-and-white promotional photographs and postcards featuring various stage and screen entertainers. The group includes items relating to Jimmy Clitheroe, David Whitfield, Margaret Lockwood, Paul Robeson, Cliff Richard, and Pat Phoenix. Several pieces feature printed titles and credits, including David Whitfield as an Exclusive Decca Recording Artist and Cliff Richard for Columbia Records. Many items bear ink signatures and personal dedications such as Best wishes and To Miss Harrison. The collection is comprised of paper items, some of which are housed in clear plastic protective sleeves.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of age-related wear throughout. Visible defects include light creasing, toning to the paper, and minor surface marks. Some edges show light bumping.
