Description
An assortment of British commemorative and long-service items housed within a blue velvet-lined presentation box. The interior lid features silver-toned lettering commemorating HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (1900-2002). The collection includes several National Savings Committee Long Service Award certificates and corresponding enamel lapel pins for five, seven, and ten years of service, issued to a Mrs Irene Heald. The numismatic items comprise British commemorative crowns, including a 1972 Silver Wedding anniversary issue, a 1965 Winston Churchill commemorative, a George VI crown, and a Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother commemorative issue. Completing the set is a 1972 Royal Masonic Institution for Girls (RMIG) Steward’s medal with a white ribbon and enamel details, alongside a textured silver-toned owl figurine.
Condition report:
The items and box appear to be in good overall condition. The paper certificates exhibit light age-related toning and minor creasing. The enamel pins, medals, and coins show light surface wear and toning consistent with age. The presentation box shows minor signs of external wear.
