Lot 156:
Description
A collection of Chinese Tibet silver Toned bullion plaques and amulets featuring traditional iconography in high relief. The silver-toned metal items are decorated with various motifs including a central bagua diagram with a yin-yang symbol surrounded by the twelve zodiac animals, twin dragons flanking a shou longevity character above stylized waves, and individual zodiac animals such as the horse and sheep set within floral and cloud scroll borders. Several pieces are stamped with Chinese characters including zu yin indicating fine silver and markings referencing the Qing dynasty. The plaques exhibit a deliberate antiqued finish with darkened patina in the recessed areas to enhance the detail of the embossed designs.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition with no significant damage or repairs visible. The antiqued finish is consistent across the pieces with minor surface wear consistent with handling.
