Description
A collection of international numismatics and militaria presented within a vintage King Edward Invincible Deluxe cardboard cigar box. The lot includes a group of various world coins in copper and silver-coloured alloys, alongside a British Africa Star military medal featuring the Royal Cypher for King George VI. Additional items comprise several circulated international banknotes, including currency from Paraguay (Cinco Mil Guaranies), and multiple large-format copper-alloy pennies featuring portraits of British monarchs including Queen Victoria and George VI. The cigar box is a Swisher product featuring a portrait of King Edward VII on the inner and outer lid. The medal is of six-pointed star design with a circular centre and crown suspension.
Condition report:
The cigar box displays shelf wear and minor losses to the edges and corners. The coins and medal exhibit various states of toning, oxidation, and surface wear consistent with age and circulation. The banknotes are in circulated condition with visible creasing and folding.
