Description
A collection of British and international historical currency and commemorative pieces. The group includes British bronze one penny coins dated 1890 and 1912, alongside a British bronze farthing dated 1895. Also featured is an 1841 silver-toned coin depicting the young head profile of Queen Victoria and a Spanish coin inscribed DOSCIENTAS PIEZAS EN KILOG. with a lion and shield motif. The lot is completed by a Victorian Diamond Jubilee commemorative token. Several pieces are presented in plastic sleeves or stapled cardboard flips with handwritten identifications.
Condition report:
The items exhibit varying degrees of wear, surface oxidation, and toning consistent with circulated historical currency. Some coins show significant smoothing of high-point details. The protective flips and sleeves show typical signs of age.
