A fossilised cluster of multiple Dactylioceras sp. ammonites embedded within their original sedimentary rock matrix, originating from Schlieffhausen, Germany. Dating to the Lower Jurassic period, approximately 170 million years old, the specimen features various well-defined, ribbed spiral shells of differing sizes set into a rough, sandy-toned matrix. The piece exhibits clear morphological detail across a substantial, irregularly shaped slab. It is presented on two clear acrylic display stands and is accompanied by a descriptive identification card.
