Description
A mid-century modern two-tier side table designed by Peter Hayward for Vanson and manufactured by W.G. Evans and Sons Ltd in the United Kingdom.. The design features two rectangular tiers with rounded corners and edges, with the upper tier being smaller in scale than the lower tier. The upper tier is supported by two angled, out-swept tapered legs that join to the surface of the lower tier. The lower tier is supported by four classic tapered legs. The underside of the frame bears a small black rectangular label with silver-coloured text reading THIS IS A Vanson PRODUCTION.
Condition report:
The table is in good vintage condition with signs of use consistent with age. There is a notable horizontal split across the surface of the upper tier. General light surface scratches, scuffs, and minor wear to the finish are present throughout.
