Description
A mid-20th-century commercial print on textured board depicting members of the Household Cavalry on horseback in London. The composition features the Victoria Memorial and Buckingham Palace in the background, rendered in a stylized, graphic manner with horizontal bands of muted colour. The work is presented in a cream-coloured wooden frame with a black inner slip. A paper label is affixed to the reverse from Messrs Ward Bros. Ltd., Waterdale, Doncaster, Yorks., which identifies the subject as Household Cavalry and the artist as Mason. The label also bears the order number 13842 and the code 311/69, likely indicating a production date of 1969.
