Description
A trio of hardcover books from the Great Reads series of literary classics. The collection includes Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne, Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift, and Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. Each volume is octavo in format and features a quarter-bound appearance with dark, cloth-effect spines and contrasting pastel-coloured boards. The Verne and Swift titles are bound in light grey-blue boards, while the Dickens title is bound in lavender-purple. The front covers are decorated with central inset colour illustrations: an antique-style world map for Verne, a scene depicting figures with a miniature person for Swift, and a portrait of a man for Dickens. The series title is printed at the head of each front board, with the book title and author name in gold-toned lettering at the foot.
Condition report:
The volumes are in good condition with clean boards and minimal wear to the extremities. No dust jackets are present. The spines are straight and the gilt lettering remains legible and bright.
