Description
They’re Off! The Great Daily Mirror Racing Game is a mid-20th-century multimedia horse racing game designed for home use. This edition features three LP records providing race commentaries by Noel Whitcomb. The set includes an illustrated box containing a collection of paper and card components, such as Race Cards, Starting Price Odds Cards, Banker’s Records, and game currency in various denominations. The box cover depicts a dynamic scene of jockeys and horses and specifies a full six-race programme with eight runners per race.
Condition report:
The box shows signs of age-related wear, including scuffing to the edges and surfaces and light soiling. The interior paper components and cards exhibit light toning and minor handling wear consistent with a used vintage game.
