Description
A collection of British cupro-nickel commemorative fifty-pence (50p) coins featuring various reverse designs. The group includes several pieces from the Beatrix Potter series, depicting characters such as Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny, Tom Kitten, and Mr. Jeremy Fisher. Other commemorative subjects represented include the 2016 Battle of Hastings, the 2018 Representation of the People Act, the 2007 Scouting Centenary Be Prepared issue, a Team GB Olympic coin, and Paddington Bear at the Tower of London. Also present are examples featuring the Royal Shield of Arms, Samuel Johnson’s Dictionary, and the Victoria Cross. The coins are of standard heptagonal form with milled edges.
