Description
A pair of polychrome painted figurines from the Coalport Treasury of Childhood series, dated 1995. The first figure, titled Let’s play Instead., depicts a seated boy in a green jumper and blue trousers with a dog and a stack of books. The second figure, identified as Teddy’s Treasure, features a boy in pirate attire including a tricorn hat, eye patch, and parrot, kneeling beside a treasure chest containing a teddy bear. Both figures are mounted on circular bases with textured finishes. The underside of the Let’s play Instead. piece bears the Coalport manufacturer’s mark, the series title, the individual piece name, and a copyright date of 1995. A Made in Thailand sticker is also present.
Condition report:
The figurines are in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or losses. The painted surfaces show no significant wear.
