Description
A Western Electric Bell System rotary dial desk telephone constructed from molded cream-coloured plastic. The unit features a clear plastic rotary dial interface incorporating numeric and alphabetic characters alongside telephony symbols for asterisk and hash. The centre of the dial contains an emergency information card with instructions for Dial 999 and 100 Operator, as well as Speaker branding. A silver-toned metal Redial lever is positioned at the base of the dial assembly. The telephone is equipped with a matching coiled handset cord and a separate black line cord terminated with a modern modular plug.
Condition report:
The plastic casing exhibits age-related yellowing and light surface wear consistent with use. The item is untested for functional capacity.
