Description
Player’s Navy Cut Medium Cigarettes unopened cylindrical metal tin, manufactured by The Imperial Tobacco Company (of Great Britain & Ireland), Limited. The vessel features a multi-coloured paper label depicting the Hero sailor trademark within a lifebuoy, flanked by nautical scenes including sailing ships and a steamship. A central black band denotes the quantity and strength as 50 MEDIUM 50. The underside of the tin is embossed with PLAYER’S NAVY CUT MEDIUM CIGARETTES and carries a contemporary paper price sticker.
Condition report:
The tin shows signs of age and storage. There is evident oxidation and pitting to the metal lid and base. The paper label displays significant wear, including scuffing, tearing, and areas of paper loss.
