The composition features a bustling square with pedestrians, two double-decker trams, and the gothic architecture of Manchester Cathedral in the background. Visible signage includes Exchange Station and Nestles Milk. The work is signed Arthur Delaney in the lower right margin and hand-numbered 713/850 in the lower left margin. The print is presented in a dark wood frame with a gold-tone inner lip and a dark brown mount.
