Description
A Royal Mail commemorative set issued in 1990 to mark the 150th anniversary of the Penny Black stamp and the introduction of the new Royal Mail corporate identity. The set is presented in a white card folder containing a miniature stamp sheet and two commemorative medals. The miniature sheet features a replica 1840 Penny Black stamp alongside a contemporary 20p stamp, set against a background of engraving-style artwork depicting Britannia. One medal is inset into the folder, while the second is housed in a separate square plastic case. Both medals feature the Royal Mail New Identity 1990 branding and a Penny Black motif. The folder includes printed descriptive text regarding the history of the uniform post and the 1840 stamp issue.

The set is in good overall condition. The card folder shows minor signs of light handling and shelf wear to the edges and corners. The stamps and medals appear well-preserved within their respective housings.
