Description
A collection of Royal Doulton Burgundy (T.C. 1001) pattern dinnerware manufactured in English translucent china. The service features a decorative motif of trailing vine leaves in shades of green and grey accented with dark purple berries, finished with a silver-toned rim. The group comprises an oval serving platter, lidded vegetable tureens, a teapot, a cream jug, a gravy boat with an underplate, various bowls, and multiple stacks of dinner plates, side plates, teacups, and saucers. The undersides of the pieces bear the printed Royal Doulton backstamp, identifying the manufacturer as Doulton and Co. Limited and the pattern as Burgundy T.C. 1001.
