Description
A set of Portmeirion pottery coffee service items in the Greek Key pattern, designed by Susan Williams-Ellis. The collection includes a tall, slender, cylindrical ceramic coffee pot featuring an elongated spout and handle, accompanied by a black lid with a ball finial. The set also comprises several handled cups and a small handleless vessel. Each piece is decorated with a bold, black Greek Key meander border around the upper rim against a white ground. Maker’s marks on the undersides identify the manufacturer as Portmeirion Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent, England, with the designer’s name included. These pieces reflect mid-century modern design principles from the 1960s.
