Description
An Underwood No. 3 Standard desktop manual typewriter featuring a black enamel-finished metal frame with gold-toned stencilled accents. The machine is equipped with a 12-inch wide carriage and a four-bank QWERTY keyboard with circular glass-topped keys. Markings include the Underwood name and crest on the paper table, Underwood Standard Typewriter on the carriage frame and front base, and Nº 3 and 12 IN. on the front base. A dual-coloured scale is positioned above the keyboard featuring a 1922 copyright date. The paper table also bears the inscription Made in U.S.A.
