Description

A collection of philatelic material and related ephemera, primarily comprising mid-to-late 20th-century British and international stamps. The lot includes a red binder with gold-stamped lettering for First Day Covers and multiple sheets of stamps, notably one titled Decimal Currency Issued 7 July 1971-1993. The collection features various British Machin definitive stamps and international issues from countries including Rwanda. Accompanying documentation from the G.P.O. Philatelic Bureau is present. A portion of the collection consists of loose stamps organised in small plastic bags, housed within a purple plastic container. The materials are predominantly paper stamps and covers.


Condition report:

The collection is in mixed condition. Some items are housed in binders and protective sleeves, while others are loose. Wear consistent with age and handling is present across the paper materials. The lot is currently stored within a cardboard box.
