Description
A collection of Royal Mint Brilliant Uncirculated one pound coin presentation sets, including the 1983 first year of issue United Kingdom one pound coin. The 1983 set features the Royal Arms on the coin reverse and is housed in a folder depicting a member of the Household Cavalry. The group also contains a 1985 Welsh one pound coin set featuring the red dragon and the motto Y DDRAIG GOCH DDYRY CYCHWYN, alongside a Brilliant Uncirculated one pound coin for Wales featuring the Menai Bridge. Each base-metal coin is held within its original Royal Mint illustrated card presentation folder.
Condition report:
The coins are in bright, uncirculated condition. The original card presentation folders show minor shelf wear and rubbing to the edges.
