Description
A pair of stud earrings featuring oval cabochons of cognac-coloured Baltic amber. Each stone is secured within a 925 silver bezel setting. The translucent amber displays characteristic dark organic inclusions. The earrings are designed for pierced ears and are fitted with post and butterfly-nut backings. The metal construction is confirmed as 925 silver.
Condition report:
The silver mounts and backings exhibit significant surface tarnishing and oxidation consistent with age and previous use. The amber cabochons appear to be in good order with no visible chips or cracks.
