Description
A contemporary art glass paper weight by Caithness Glass, Scotland, in the Raindrop pattern. The object is crafted in an ovoid teardrop form, featuring thick clear glass encasing an internal composition of variegated blue and teal tones. The internal decoration consists of organic, cell-like structures that transition from a dense lower section to a translucent, deep teal apex. The underside displays a radiating floral motif with white and blue accents. This pattern is associated with the Caithness Glass Collectors Society and examples are known to date from circa 2002.
Condition report:
The item is in good condition with no visible chips, fractures, or restorations. Surface reflections are present consistent with the material and handling.
