Description
A trio of vintage alarm clocks comprising a Smiths model, a Westclox model, and a Prim model. The Smiths alarm clock features a circular form with a chrome-finished metal bezel and a white dial displaying blue Arabic numerals, marked Made in Great Britain at the base. The Westclox model is housed in an off-white circular casing with a contrasting black dial and luminous-style Arabic numerals, marked Scotland. The third item is a rectangular cream-coloured clock with rounded corners and a numeric dial, identified by web consensus as a 1970s Prim model manufactured in Czechoslovakia. All three clocks are constructed with plastic or metal casings and represent mid-century utilitarian design.
Condition report:
All items exhibit signs of age and use consistent with vintage utilitarian objects. Visible surface wear and some discoloration are present on the plastic casings. Accumulations of dust are noted across the group. The items are sold as seen; mechanical functionality has not been tested.
