Description
A pair of contemporary commemorative 50 pence coins, each housed in original illustrated card packaging. The lot comprises a Pitcairn Islands 50 pence coin struck to commemorate the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023, featuring the effigy of King Charles III on the obverse and the official tournament mascot on the reverse. Accompanying this is a 50 pence coin featuring The Elf on the Shelf holiday tradition, depicting an elf beside a decorated Christmas tree. Both specimens are heptagonal and struck with a Brilliant Uncirculated finish. The coins are held within clear plastic blisters mounted to the presentation cards.
Condition report:
Both coins remain in as-issued Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The illustrated card packaging shows minor signs of handling at the edges but remains structurally sound. The protective plastic blisters are intact and the coins remain sealed.
