Description
A Wedgwood fine bone china collector plate titled The Baked Potato Man, being the first issue from The Street Sellers of London series by artist John Finnie. The decorative plate features a central polychrome illustration depicting a historical street scene with a vendor serving a young customer from a mobile potato oven. The title is inscribed in cursive script along the upper rim, and the artist signature is visible within the artwork. The reverse provides detailed cataloguing information, including the Wedgwood maker mark, the series title, a plate number of 9780 G, and a Bradex number of 26-W90-10.1. The piece was produced in 1985 in an edition limited to fifty firing days.
