Description
A collection of Wade porcelain animal figurines, including a larger tortoise trinket box. The group features various subjects such as a lion, koala, rhinoceros, monkey, squirrels, and owls. Each piece is constructed from moulded porcelain with a high-gloss glaze. The colour palette primarily consists of earthy brown and tan tones, with one small owl finished in a contrasting green glaze. The tortoise figurine features a removable shell and is marked on the underside of the base with WADE PORCELAIN MADE IN ENGLAND.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good overall condition. No significant chips, cracks, or restorations are visible upon inspection. Minor surface wear is present, consistent with age and handling.
