Description
A commemorative Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) wall plaque featuring the poem High Flight by Pilot Officer John Gillespie Magee Jr. The item comprises an etched brass plate mounted onto a rectangular wooden base. To the left of the etched text is a raised, embroidered RCAF pilot wing insignia. The brass plate is inscribed with the full text of the poem and is signed at the bottom P/O J.G. MAGEE, JNR, 412 SQN RCAF. The plate is secured to the wooden mount by four slotted screws at the corners.

Condition report:
The brass plate shows surface tarnishing and minor spotting consistent with age and oxidation. The wooden base and embroidered insignia remain in good condition. General wear is consistent with age and display.
