Description
A collection of vintage and modern trade cards and stickers presented in two multi-ring binder albums with protective plastic sleeves. The assortment includes 1982 Panini Marco Polo sticker cards produced in Italy by Edizioni Panini, bearing the copyright mark © 1982 by ERI / EDIZIONI RAI. The collection also features early 20th-century cigarette cards from various manufacturers including Wills’s, John Player & Sons, and Ogden’s, with subjects ranging from flora and fauna to architecture and figures. Additionally, the lot contains Dutch promotional trade cards from Verkade’s and Bussink’s, including botanical studies of succulents from the Vetplanten series and various scenic landscapes. The cards are printed on cardstock with diverse illustrative styles. Visible markings include brand names, set titles, and manufacturer details on the reverse of the cards.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in generally good condition. Some of the earlier cigarette cards show expected age-related toning and minor wear to the edges and corners. The albums and plastic sleeves exhibit standard signs of handling.
