Description
A 2014 Jersey Remembrance 100 Poppies Colour five pound coin. The reverse features a red poppy design with the central inscription LEST WE FORGET. The obverse displays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and is inscribed ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF JERSEY 2014. The coin is presented within a clear protective plastic capsule. This lot further includes a collection of British silver sixpences dating from 1928 to 1946. These coins feature the portraits of King George V and King George VI. The reverse designs include the crowned GRI monogram and various floral motifs, with inscriptions such as FID DEF IND IMP and SIXPENCE.
Condition report:
The commemorative five pound coin appears in excellent uncirculated condition. The sixpences exhibit varying degrees of circulation wear and natural age-related toning consistent with their period of use.
